Requisition data entry can be a significant bottleneck. Requisition Wizard is an Excel based front-end for the Oracle Requisition Interface. It simplifies and speeds up the process of entering Requisitions into Oracle Purchasing, while providing in-built validation to ensure accuracy.

The program contains all the validation and defaulting rules of the Oracle forms plus the Template and bulk-loader capabilities made possible by our popular spreadsheet model. You can download existing data from Oracle as the basis for your new Requisition, and employ all the usual features of Excel to help prepare your data.

Features

  • Optional Data Entry forms, which include data validation and full List of Values capability
  • Load one, a selected range, or all Requisition Lines on the worksheet
  • Submit Requisition Import from the toolbar and refresh the upload status with Oracle's rejection errors
  • Can use formulas in place of values
  • Use multiple sheets and even operate on sheets in other workbooks
  • Delete individual Requisition Lines or Distributions from the interface tables based on the Interface ID and Dist ID column values
  • Error messages are returned to the worksheet so there is no need to go into the Applications to check the import status
  • Customize your view of some LOV items to restrict usage

This program uses the standard Requisition Interface tables. Installation can be performed in a minute by your DBA. Runs on Excel 2000 or later on any operating system. Connects to Oracle Applications R11i and R12 on any platform.
