More4Apps have developed this program to allow you to upload your Oracle Asset's Retirements directly from an Excel spreadsheet. The FA Retirement Wizard is very easy to use, and is designed to help find the assets you need to retire using the inbuilt download capability. Of course, like all the other wizards, it will also accept information retrieved from spreadsheets or other sources. Just about any file format can be loaded into Excel, then formatted, validated and loaded using this product.

Requires MS-Excel and Internet Explorer on the PC, otherwise no additional software or licenses required. Installation can be performed in a minute by your DBA. Runs on Excel 97/2000/XP on any operating system. Connects to Oracle Applications R11i onwards on any platform.

Q: Do I need any other software to use this product?
A: No. If you have Microsoft Excel and Internet Explorer on the PC, you have all the other software you need.

Q: Do I lose support from Oracle if I allow this third party product to integrate with our database?
A: No. You would if this product wrote directly to the application's base tables. FA Retirements Wizard, however, uses the supported public API procedure FA_RETIREMENTS_PUB. This use is supported by Oracle and consequently you do not jeopardise your support agreement.

Pricing and Licenses

Perpetual Licence

This licence option is suitable for on-going use of the software in an operational capacity. The licence price is payable once only.

Conversion Licence

This licence option allows the software to be used for 3 months, for a reduced price. The licence price is inclusive of email support. After the 3 month period, the software automatically reverts to trial version functionality. At any time, the licence may be upgraded to a permanent licence upon payment of the difference between the full and conversion licence prices.

Support

Support is 25% per annum, and includes upgrades and enhancements. Support is actioned via email and telephone.
Although you are not required to purchase the support agreement, we do recommend it as we often add new features, and Oracle do change their product, requiring us to adapt our software to suit.
