This is a generic Download / Insert / Update / Delete utility program using MS-Excel. It is useful for updating Interface tables for example, and we found it rather useful in taking the drudgery out of passing data back and forth to Oracle. It only connects to the Oracle database.
Upload Wizard is a VBA program embedded in a Microsoft Excel workbook.
Choice of Connections
There are two connection methods to Oracle.
One is an ODBC / SQL*Net connection. This method requires a working MDAC installation on the PC and also Oracle’s SQL*Net software. A small package is required to be created in the database to facilitate the INSERT statement.
The other connection method is via the intranet using a similar web connection technology to that used in the Oracle EBS forms. Two packages require to be installed in the database and also a Java Servlet for R12. This is only relevant for connections to Oracle E-Business Suite instances.

Features
All options are available on a toolbar. Double clicking in the brown header cell also loads the Table form.
Insert, Update, and Delete capabilities are provided.
There is a download facility.
You may operate on a single, or multiple rows.
You may have multiple sheets, and even operate the toolbar from different workbooks.

Trial Version
The trial version of this program is fully functional and has no time-out. It does however only upload 5 commands at a time before it stops with a message.
